Klein aber oho!
Die Anlage liegt etwas in den Bergen und ist über kleine Straßen zu erreichen. Aber der Weg lohnt sich! Ich habe noch niemals so ein Hotel erlebt: die persönliche Betreuung war hervorragend, das Zimmer (wir hatten ursprünglich eine Suite gemietet, aber die war uns zu weit weg von der eigentlichen Anlage) war groß, hell, absolut sauber und gepflegt - so wie die gesamte Anlage - und lies keine Wünsche offen. Das Bett war prima, das Badezimmer mit Bidet und großer Badewanne war gemütlich, der Schrank groß genug für 4 (ich hätte mir allerdings ein paar Einlegeböden mehr gewünscht). Das Frühstück war hervorragend - es hat uns an nichts gefehlt, vor allem die frischen Säfte aus eigener Produktion haben uns beeindruckt und die selbstgemachten Marmeladen! Der Pool ist zwar nicht beheizt, aber man sich wunderbar darin abkühlen. Zum besonderen Service des Hauses gehört auch die Möglichkeit, Massagen zu nutzen - herrlich! Vielen Dank nochmal an Margarita. Das gesamte Personal war rundherum sehr freundlich und absolut zuvorkommend - großes Lob! Wir wünschen dem gesamten Herdade-Team weiterhin viele zufriedene Gäste.

"Accommodation is excellent. Great pool with superb views. Friendly owners on hand to help with ideas for days out. Great tapas served all day with meals in the evening if required. Breakfast is very good. A really good experience. We have been four times now and cannot find a fault."

Charming of the beaten path farmhouse "We absolutely loved our stay. Originally we were staying 3 nights but extended it to 6. Loved the room, the peaceful surroundings, the food & wine, the pool and the staff was very friendly. If you're after a quiet few days away from home with great breakfast / lovely massage and home cooked dinners - this is where you want to go."

Beautiful family getaway "Enjoyed 3 nights away at Herdade da Corte with my husband, 3 year old and 7 month old. The breakfast was lovely on the porch and dinner was a nice option when you don’t want to go out with small children. The pool was great and hiking trails just from the car park. The Family Suit was comfortable for us and quiet. Just know if is a drive from the main hotel (pool, dining room, main desk). Highly recommend!"

It's rural!
Fabulous country hotel/guest house. Great countryside views. I ordered dinner as there no restaurant and had a delicious meal made for me. Service is really good and the location is fantastic with a lovely pool overlooking the view.

Marriage anniversary in ecstasy We spent 3 days  in Herdade da Corte. The experience was amazing! The silence was what stroke us when we parked the car. Immersed in the untouched nature, this nice hotel offers exactly what we were looking for: tranquility, quality and peace. It's very easy to go from there to the beaches of Tavira and town but it's far enough to shelter us from any disturbance. The breakfast is excellent with a traditional flavour and the rooms are large and comfortable. João, the manager, is very friendly and informal and the staff is great. We feel at home at all times. There is an Honesty Bar where you are trusted to account for what you drink. At night, the vision of the starry sky is overwhelming. Loved it. Will be back asap.

Un endroit reposant, très agréable à recommander "L' accueil est excellent, le petit déjeuner est de qualité, ainsi que le diner que nous avons commandé, produits du terroir et fait maison. Un Patron disponible très à l' écoute. Piscine excellente avec serviettes... Une belle propriétée ou l' on peut se reposer au calme, lire et écouter les oiseaux. À 10 km de la plage... Allez y vous serez agréablement surpris pour une détente de qualité."

A different view of the Algarve "Herdade da Corte is a beautiful hotel set in the hills north of Tavira. The old farmhouse has been converted into rooms and suites. The views of the surrounding area are amazing and there is something special about having your breakfast on the terrace overlooking the citrus groves. There is a real relaxed and chilled out atmosphere. The staff will either leave you to yourself or be extremely attentive depending on your needs. Not for people looking to party the night away in clubs but if you are looking for somewhere to forget about the world for a few days I cant think of anywhere better."
